KNOW BEFORE YOU POUR

THE PROCESS

CONSULTATION & SITE MEETING

Every project begins with a conversation. We assess your property, discuss your goals, take measurements and provide a detailed estimate outlining the scope of work, timeline, and costs according to proposed budget.

Once we have agreed to build together, the following takes place:  Site Preparation,  Base Installation & Grading,  Forming & Reinforcement,  Concrete Pouring, Finishing,  Control Joints,  Curing,  Final Inspection & Cleanup.

SCHEDULING

Simply contact us for an estimate call. We'll discuss your project, answer your questions and help you get started. If you are ready to move forward, one of our concrete experts will conduct a site visit. Once contracts are agreed upon, your service will be scheduled. Before installation, we recommend removing vehicles and personal belongings from the work area. We'll provide any additional preparation instructions specific to your project.

CURING

Concrete begins to harden within a few hours but continues curing for about 28 days to reach its full strength. Following our curing recommendations helps maximize durability.  In most cases, you can walk on new concrete after 24–48 hours, depending on weather conditions and the specific project.

We generally recommend waiting 28 days before driving on a new driveway. This allows the concrete to gain sufficient strength for vehicle traffic.

CRACKS

Small hairline cracks can occur as concrete cures and are a normal part of the process. We use proper reinforcement, joint placement and installation techniques to help minimize cracking and improve long-term performance.

REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

COST

The cost depends on several factors, including the size of the project, site preparation, concrete thickness, decorative finishes, accessibility and any demolition required. We'll provide a detailed estimate tailored to your project.

MAINTENANCE

Keeping your concrete clean, avoiding harsh chemicals and repairing small issues early can help extend its life and maintain its appearance.

LONGEVITY

With proper installation and routine maintenance, quality concrete can last 30 years or more, making it one of the most durable materials for pool decks, driveways, patios and sidewalks.

TIME

Most residential projects are completed within a few days, depending on the size and complexity.  We complete both residential and commercial concrete projects, including parking lots, sidewalks, foundations, loading areas, and other commercial flatwork. Larger or more customized projects may take longer.

WARRANTY

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. Warranty details vary by project and we'll explain the coverage before work begins.
